July 10th - Day at Sea
We spent another day at sea due to the time lost from the Medevac. Learned today it was a heart attack.
Jason was up early enough to see the sunrise and wander around with pretty much no one on deck yet
. It was already 27C at 5am.
We ate breakfast in the dining room for something different. The tropical fruit bowl with cottage cheese was quite good and we also each ordered a bagel with smoked salmon.
We checked out the casino some more and Jason got a blackjack. Also walked around the promenade deck and did a game show in the lounge.
Jody the cruise director put on a behind the scenes talk about how the crew lives and works at sea that was really interesting. There are 1100 crew on board, 160 food preparers in the kitchen, 60 dishwashers, and many other positions.
For supper there was Indian Korma which was really good.
There was a comedian/magician performer in the evening that wasn't particularly good. He was very witty but overall it was pretty so-so. We went to bed early because we're heading out early before it gets hot tomorrow.
